I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and have very little hand strength. So trying to get a fine grate is difficult juggling a bowl and the grater and the Veggie (like cabbage). This is much easier, more stable, and gives me Better results than a food processor. Love It - Plus I get a useful strainer and stainless bowl in the bargain!
This is an excellent set, easy to use the shredder, wish I had seen this a long time ago! My best kitchen purchase of the year by far!
Very handy in the kitchen. Grater works well on a carrot, so it should be able to handle anything you can throw at it. Set it on a damp towel so it doesn't slide around on the counter while grating. Get one.
I used it today for the first time. I grated cabbage and carrots to make cole slaw. It worked great! Easiest way yet and I have been making slaw for many years. Quick and easy and cleanup was a snap. I think this set will get much usage in my kitchen.
I use it for everything probably will purchase more as Christmas gifts this year
